Personalized Prep

July 24th, 2023- 2 week sprint for the initial website with monthly updates

Team - Marketing Director, Executive Assistant, CEO, Me

My Role - UI/UX Designer, UX Researcher

The Challenge

New clients are always hard to come by for extra curricular tutoring and having an online presence is important for any service based business. The CEO of Personalized Prep wanted to redo the website.

The Outcome

A redesigned website with feedback from primary stakeholders and users while staying true to the brand identity in order to increase clients.

User Research

10 interviews with current students, parents, and coworkers.

Objectives:

  • Understand where people thought the website could be improved

  • See if there was anything stopping users from lining up lessons

Key Responses

Before

New and improved testimonial page

After

"The pictures on testimonials and about is taking up the whole page!"

Introduction video moved to be the front splash page to allow users to immediately watch. Also allowed users to scroll and explore the page, but still have access to scheduling a tutoring session throughout the homepage.

After

"The ad on the front makes the website feel dated, I'm not sure I would trust this website."
